We currently have an open position for a well-organized and motivated Payment Posting Specialist who is wanting to grow their career! You will be a key player at a growing company.

 

We are looking for a positive Payment Posting Specialist, who is a self-starter and is eager to thrive in a dynamic environment and is deeply passionate about providing high quality administrative support.

 

 

General Summary of Duties:

Job duties consist of various types of posting payments such as direct checks, credit cards, lockbox payments, pay directs, bankruptcy checks, court checks, web payments and returned checks. It requires accurate balancing of payment batches, scanning batches, uploading daily deposits through RDC, researching payment issues, processing daily mail incoming/outgoing, etc. 

Duties of Job:

  • Accurately post high volumes of payments to multiple systems, electronically and manually
  • Maintain daily productivity goals and quality standards
  • Reconcile all payment batches
  • Scan payment batches
  • Research unidentified payments
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail distribution
  • Operate office machines, such as photocopiers, scanners, RDC and computers
  • Work with the team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Work on assignments as requested by supervisor

 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Reliable attendance record
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and documents
  • Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction
  • Perform duties with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time
  • Must have strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to perform in high productivity and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • 45-60 WPM minimum
  • 8,000 KPH minimum (10 key speed)
  • Must be a self-starter, self-managing, and self-motivated
  • Must be team and company oriented
